There is a Latin proverb:  “Verba volant, scripta manent”. Literally translated, it means "spoken words fly away, written words remain". Within this context, first of all, I really appreciate that you are taking a break in our crowded digital life and record the moment verbally since we are generally very forgetful. Thank you.

1.What's the idea that's obsessing you now?

Any initiative or idea for common good is obsessing me in recent years which can be summarized for my discipline as social architecture giving service for at least common denominator.

2.What would you like to create next ?

Although we were unprepared, we globally had to experience the different faces of digital life nowadays. I am rethinking the importance of digital / new era to understand the new dynamics and communicate even with my child’s generation for not to fall behind. Therefore, I would like to focus on the new needs of the next generation for the process design.

3.Where do you go for inspiration ?

I got inspired by travelling new countries, observing nature, visiting famous architectural places, visiting museums / art exhibitions and meeting with my friends especially the younger ones like my students. But nowadays by necessity; we are experiencing online museums, online exhibitions and digital meetings for inspiration.

4.What is your favorite everyday object ?

For pandemic period; soap, cologne and my mobile phone are my favorite objects.

But generally I take my notebooks everywhere and I draw sketches while I am thinking, listening the music, watching something and also while working. Let me send you one of them…

5.What’s the last book that made you inspired?

The Society of the Spectacle, Guy Debord. Now we are experiencing that his assumptions were right.
