THE ICONIC MOSQUE

"Circle” is foundation of Islamic Pattern and it defines the “Circle” as the geometry of the line.

The design of the mosque evokes the lightness of a cloud while reflecting a new natural landscape as the growth of trees to approximate a natural form.

The central dome is surrounded with other eight supporting domes are all togerher building a system to let themselves float gently in the air. Those elegant White

evoke the gentle touch of a cloud above the praying area and plaza. The worshippers and visitors(tourists) will be able to spend time in, on and around of them . . .

Floor to ceiling Windows with minimal details blur the boundries between inside and outside to view the sky and feel the volume under the dome. Indirect lighting from the tree like columns illuminates the curved geometry at night the interior glows like silence in sky.
